Over the years it has become common to believe that Home-Grown Alternatives is a St. Paul’s Church event. Who can blame them. We have been holding HGA there for 8 of our 10 years of existance. The same reasons we chose their venue for our second year holds true today. There is ample free parking, it is centrally located, with lots of safe space for children to play, wheel chair and baby carriage accessible (from the rear of the church hall), a good supply of tables, and a kitchen.

It also appears that we have inspired several church groups to have shopping events around Christmas time. When we first started out in Nov. 1995, there were hardly any events that catered to locals at this time in the year. Most craftspersons and artists focused mainly on visitors. It was thought to be a crazy idea at the time, but we are sure glad we took the chance and continue to bring you what we know is Bermuda’s best shopping experience—totally home-grown.
